Your data, in plain words.

Khai is a small studio, not a large platform, so there’s no wall of badges here. This page says exactly what happens to your calls, files and customer details instead.

Your files are not used to train AI models

AskOwner keeps your files in an index that only your own assistant reads. We only use AI providers whose business terms say the data you send isn’t used to train their models, and we tell you which providers your system uses, in writing, before we build.

Who can see what

Only you and the people you name can use your assistant. Khai can see your data only to build and fix your system, and only while you’re a client.

Call recordings and transcripts

You choose whether calls are recorded and how long recordings are kept. The default is 90 days. Callers hear that the call may be recorded when your state requires it.

The AI says it’s an AI

Your receptionist and chat never pretend to be a person if someone asks. They hand over to a person when a customer asks for one, or when the topic is one you’ve marked as yours.

You own the accounts

Phone numbers, calendars and data accounts are set up in your business’s name. If you leave, we export your data to you and delete our copies within 30 days.

What we don’t claim

Khai doesn’t hold a SOC 2 or HIPAA certification. If your business needs one, say so on the intro call, and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
