Hear it before you buy it
Call the AI receptionist. It answers as a made-up Austin plumber.
The demo line is set up as Eastside Plumbing, a business that doesn’t exist. Ask it what you’d ask a real front desk, then try to trip it up.
Demo line opening soon
Until it opens, book an intro call and I’ll ring you from it while we talk.
- Ask what a water heater install costs.
- Try to book Tuesday morning.
- Ask something it can’t know, like where the owner lives.
- Ask for a person, and see how it hands you over.

Why not a $49 app?
Self-serve AI receptionists cost about $29 to $299 a month, and they’re fine if you have the time to set one up yourself. Here you pay for that setup: I connect it to your calendar, CRM and files, write its answers with you, test it on real calls, and keep tuning it after launch.
What moves the price
How many locations you have, which tools it connects to, and how many calls or files it handles. You get a fixed quote after the planning week, before any build starts.
How it works
Voice goes live in about a week. Bigger systems take about five.
Intro call
30 minutes. We find the task that costs you the most time.
Plan
We look at how your calls, files and leads work today. You get a fixed quote.
Build
Voice takes days. AskOwner and automations take 2 to 5 weeks, tested on your real data.
Launch
Your team starts using it. I watch the first two weeks and fix anything that’s off.
Who builds it
I’m Khai Nguyen. You’ll talk to me, not a sales team.
I build AI systems for Austin businesses the same way I built two live permit maps: on real data, shipped in weeks, and supported by someone who picks up the phone.
Khai means “to open” in Vietnamese. The point is to open up the hours you lose to missed calls, lost files and cold leads.
FAQ
Questions owners ask first.
What does it cost?
Each system has a one-time setup fee and a monthly fee. Voice starts at $1,500 setup and $300 a month. AskOwner starts at $3,000 and $250 a month. Chat and automations start at $1,000 and $150 a month. You get a fixed quote after the planning week.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. You forward your existing number to the AI only when you want it to answer: after hours, when the line is busy, or all the time. Your customers dial the same number they always have.
Will callers know it’s an AI?
It greets callers the way you choose, and it never pretends to be a person if someone asks. What callers notice most is that somebody picked up.
What happens when it can’t answer?
It takes a message, tells the caller you’ll call back, and texts you right away. If you want, it can transfer urgent calls to your cell.
How much of my time does it take?
About two hours in the planning week to walk me through how calls and files work, then a short weekly check while we build. After launch, a monthly check-in.
My files are a mess. Does AskOwner still work?
Yes. Messy folders and long email threads are normal. AskOwner reads them as they are, and we tidy only what it needs to answer well.
Where do my files and recordings go?
Your files stay in an index that only your assistant reads. We only use AI providers whose business terms say your data isn’t used to train their models. The full details are on the security page.
Who owns the accounts?
You do. Phone numbers, calendars and data accounts are set up in your business’s name, so nothing is locked to Khai.
Is there a long contract?
No. After setup it’s month to month. Cancel with 30 days’ notice and we hand everything over.
What happens after launch?
I watch the first two weeks of calls and answers and fix what’s off. After that you have a monthly check-in, and you can text me when something needs changing.
